This website has been constructed by students for students. Multiple minds and millions of mistakes have gone into creating a set of practical guidelines designed to help future students avoid the same errors.
It is an interactive website allowing you to comment on the guidelines with your own experiences or amendments, or even make your own guidelines in the Add Your Own Guidelines section.
Our guidelines are separated into seven different categories found in the menu on the left. They apply to everyone from social scientists to physicists, and are based firmly on the philosophy that we learn through mistakes.
The only question is whether you would rather learn from ours now or yours later.
“It may be an unwise man who doesn’t learn from his own mistakes, but it’s an absolute idiot that doesn’t learn from other people’s.” – Dr. Frasier Crane.
The decision is yours…
