Celebrating Success: Dr Stefanie Reissner and Dr Michal Izak

Deriving from their British Academy / Leverhulme Trust funded research on flexible working, Dr Stefanie Reissner (Newcastle University Business School) and Dr Michal Izak (University of Roehampton Business School) highlight three issues that remote workers can do to mitigate the risks of overwork and stress often associated with flexible working. Writing a guest blog for the campaign group Work Wise UK, they recommend to (1) drawing boundaries between work and nonwork; (2) maintaining personal contacts with their colleagues and peers; and (3) ensuring that the efforts and contributions relating to their role are noticed by their line managers.
