Professor Stuart Barnes has become Official Nominator for the VinFuture Prize, Chaired by Professor Sir Richard Henry Friend, FRS, University of Cambridge (Prof. Michael Porter is a panel member). The VinFuture Prize comprises a Grand Prize of US$3 million, plus three special prizes of $500,000, awarded annually for breakthrough research and technological innovations that improve the quality of human life, and create a more equitable and sustainable world for future generations.
