Gender Diversity in Accounting and Finance – event for prospective students

Newcastle University Business School is committed to supporting gender balance in traditionally male-dominated fields.

This event is for Year 11 and Year 12 prospective students looking to study our undergraduate Accounting and Finance degrees. Pupils will hear from current learners, staff and women in industry about the role they play in Accounting and Finance. This event is an excellent opportunity to encourage young women into the field and showcase the variety of opportunities in the sector.

 

The event will cover:

• Presentations from successful women in the industry
• Discussions with current female students
• Opportunity to learn about the vast career opportunities with the ACA qualification
• Q&A panel
• Introduction to the Flying Start programme at Newcastle University
