Need help progressing your career or research?

The Enterprise Academy Mentoring Scheme is a free mentoring and career development programme, which can last for up to 6 months. Designed for Newcastle University staff, either in research or professional services, the scheme aims to help staff get their ideas off the ground, progress their careers, provide leadership advice or simply help them to develop external partnerships.

Launch Event

Join our Enterprise Academy Mentoring Scheme Launch event to find out how you can get involved with our new mentoring scheme. Discover how our new Enterprise Academy Mentoring Scheme will benefit Newcastle University staff interested in industry collaboration, research commercialisation and other external facing projects. Learn how it could help you to create real impact with your research through applying your knowledge and skills in an environment outside the boundaries of academia.

Our Launch event is an opportunity to meet our mentors, and to hear from Julie Bullimore, Head of Organisational Development, and Vicky Hall, Organisational Development Advisor, who will explain the process of applying to, and the benefits of engaging in a mentoring scheme.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions in a group Q&A, before our networking session where you can speak directly to our mentoring team about your ambitions and what support you require.

This event, and the mentoring scheme is open to Newcastle University staff only.
