International Conference on Sustainable Finance and Green Fintech
23 – 24 February 2023
CONFERENCE THEME
The need for sustainable finance to reach net-zero by 2050 to mitigate the effects of climate change is a pressing critical problem which requires a global response if we are to be successful. This international conference will bring together leading academics, policymakers, and regulators to evaluate current issues affecting and shaping the evolution of the broad financial services sector, focusing on sustainable finance and emerging issues in Green Fintech. We invite substantial, original, unpublished research submissions in this area. Green fintech goes well beyond ‘clean’ cryptocurrencies and includes all fintech applications that can demonstrate relevance and impact on achieving the financial aspects of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
JOURNAL PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
The best submissions will have the option to be published in a Special Issue of Finance Research Letters and the International Review of Economics and Finance. Authors who wish their paper to be considered for either of the two special issues need to indicate during the conference submission process that they opt for dual submission, i.e., conference and journal.
After the conference, the authors will be notified and given detailed instructions on submitting papers to the special issues. Papers submitted will not be subject to submission fees but will go through the usual review process per each journal’s guidelines.
