Artificial Intelligence Symposium: Applications and Implications of AI
Artificial Intelligence Symposium: Applications and Implications of AI
Friday 16th June 2023, 10am-4pm, Henry Daysh Building 6.16 PGR training space.
This event aims to bring Newcastle University researchers together who are working in the development of AI, who are using AI within their research, or are looking at the regulatory and ethical issues of AI. We hope this will facilitate connections between researchers working in different faculties and areas for future collaborations.
We would like to invite researchers to present at the event who are working in the development of AI, who are using AI within their research, or are looking at the regulatory and ethical issues of AI.
The intention is to showcase the research being done at Newcastle University and to facilitate connections between researchers working in different faculties/areas for future collaborations. The talks should be fairly generalist, bearing in mind that the audience might not be experts in your field. The event will predominantly be aimed at Newcastle University researchers, but the audience may also contain interested parties from NE regional universities and industry. If you would like to present your research at the event, please indicate in the sign-up sheet here: Microsoft Forms
If we have more offers of speakers than space on the day we may have to limit the numbers.
We would like to capture the research interests of Newcastle University researchers around AI whether or not you are available to attend the event, so please complete the form even if you cannot attend on the day.
If you would like to use AI in your research and are looking to find researchers to collaborate with, or just have an interest in listening to the talks, please register as an attendee.
If you would like to do a talk as part of this event, please register by 30th May 2023.
