Topics covered ranged from utilizing AI to address service failure challenges and evaluating the effectiveness of algorithm-based persuasion to examining brand communication and morality, as well as exploring how social media facilitates the use of falsehoods by influencers seeking fame. The conference drew academics and practitioners from the marketing, computer science, and digital technology fields, representing a diverse array of universities and industries from the UK, China, the US, Australia, India, Morocco, and Malaysia. Keynote speakers at the conference shared valuable insights on the future of digital marketing, data analysis, and its practical applications. With 20 thought-provoking presentations, the success of the 2nd Northeast Digital Marketing Conference garnered increased attention for our research community, sparked broader discussions, and fostered stronger collaborative networks. Building on this success, the conference organizers eagerly anticipate hosting the 3rd Northeast Digital Marketing Conference, aiming to reach an even larger audience and involve a wider range of stakeholders.
