Online EDI Toolkit for Research(ers) – Launched!
An online ‘EDI Toolkit’ designed to support individual researchers and teams to embed EDI into their daily practice has now launched on the external Newcastle University website.
- Are you a researcher at Newcastle?
- Do you work in a team that delivers or enables research?
- How does equality, diversity and inclusion play a role in completing your research?
- Why not check out the new EDI Toolkit for Researchers to see how you can embed EDI in your daily research practice?
As part of a Wellcome-funded project to help embed equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in research culture, an online EDI Toolkit for Researchers has been created. The toolkit is a set of practical resources, designed to help researchers to engage with and understand equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), but can help everyone involved in research to develop a more inclusive research culture.
Whilst the toolkit project has been funded by Wellcome and developed with researchers in mind, there is lots of content in the toolkit that is relevant for us all. For instance, you could check out the guides on Allyship and Accessibility or find out about the nine protected characteristics.
The toolkit is available to colleagues and students at Newcastle and beyond.
Head over to the EDI Toolkit to see how it can support you.
