Celebrating Success – Professor David Higgins

Congratulations to David Higgins and Julie Bower (Birmingham Coventry University), who won the Bateman Prize for the best paper entitled ‘Hands Off Our Pubs: The Divided Elite versus The Little People in 1920s Temperance Britain’ presented to the Economic & Business History Society  and the  Association of Business Historians annual conference, held at York, 27-29 June.
