NERC Pushing the Frontiers July 2025 Support Process

NERC has now opened the Pushing the Frontiers scheme July 2025 Call which has a deadline of the 16th July 2025.  It is for projects up to £950,000 fEC, which are curiosity-driven and will be assessed on research excellence and capability to deliver.

Due to our previous success rates Newcastle University is limited by the NERC to submit one proposal into this competition.  We will therefore use our usual internal support and selection process, please see this document.

To be considered to apply in the July 2025 selection process for NERC Pushing the Frontiers, please completed this Expression of Interest Form by 28th March 2025.
