Extended Deadline: Apply Now for the Leading Researchers Programme
We’re pleased to share that the application deadline for the Leading Researchers Programme has been extended to Tuesday 3rd December 2025 – giving you more time to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Running from mid-April to early October 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed), this multi-day programme is designed for Senior Lecturers, Readers, and Professors (within the last 4 years). It uses a creative mix of learning formats to help you develop the self-awareness, skills, and confidence to lead with purpose and collaborate effectively.
Through a series of interactive workshops, you’ll explore key aspects of research leadership, all underpinned by our institutional Research Culture priorities. The programme offers space to reflect on your leadership style, evaluate your experiences, and set meaningful goals for your future.

- Workshop 2: Creating Conditions for Developing Ideas
- Workshop 3: Nurturing Team Dynamics
- Workshop 4: Engaging People With Your Research
- Workshop 5: Presenting and Communicating Your Idea
