AHRC and ESRC Pitch to Peers
We are pleased to announce a new initiative to help researchers who are developing proposals to AHRC and ESRC. Researchers will be able to get support and advice from experienced colleagues to develop their thinking about the grant application. Discussing the idea at an early stage will enhance the application in a competitive funding landscape.
The first ‘Pitch to Peers’ will be held in May 2026.

All we need is your name, contact and whether you are aiming for AHRC or ESRC funding.
A member of the Research Funding Development Team will then be in touch to discuss dates of upcoming meetings and how you would like to summarise your idea to the group.
