NI Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme Open for Applications

Funding is available for rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty following the Covid-19 pandemic in Northern Ireland.

The Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) with funding provided by the Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) programme.

Grants of between £200 and £1,500 are available.

Funding can be used to purchase capital equipment, improve an asset, or extend the usable life of a capital asset.

Total project costs must not exceed £3,000.

The deadline for applications is noon on 22 October 2021.
