Faculty Research Fund – Autumn 2021 call now open
All career stages of staff are encouraged to apply for funding, whether early-career, mid-career or established academic colleagues, however note that the likely significance of an award to the career development of the applicant is a factor in the assessment. Applications are welcomed for both work leading to an application for external funding (the Faculty’s Bid Preparation Fund should be used where the application will exceed £200k) and funding to generate a significant output.
The deadline dates are as follows:
- Applicants to submit their application form electronically to to their RI Lead by 17:00 on Wednesday 3rd November 2021. Please contact the research team at nubsdirectorofresearch@ncl.ac.uk in advance of this deadline to discuss your costs.
- RI Leads to submit completed forms and rankings electronically to Natasha Mauthner by 10th November 2021.
- Louise Crawford and Natasha Mauthner will select and rank the best applications (max of 6) from the School and submit to the Faculty by 17th November.
- Applications will be considered by a panel on 15th December and the results will be communicated in early January.
