Celebrating Success: Dr Ying Yang

Congratulations to Dr Ying Yang for her success. The International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (ISPERA) has accepted her application for Newcastle University to be their Regional Centre of Competence for three years. Although ISPERS have ten regional centres across the world, this is their first centre in the UK.

Ying noted: “I believe this will not only strengthen the Supply Chain and Operations Research Community, but also benefit our two supply-chain-related Master programmes. Considering the importance of supply chain management after the pandemic, the activities that I have proposed for the ISPERA centre will strengthen student recruitment and employability.”
