Failing Forward launch event

Thursday 17th October, Event space (ground floor) The Core, Newcastle Helix Site

‘Failure’ and its stigmatisation in the academic environment has been identified by our research community as a significant issue impacting our research culture. Consultations highlighted the need to create a culture that normalises and embraces ‘failure’ and sees it as a valuable part of learning and continual improvement, not just for academics and researchers but across the entire research community.

Failing Forward is a starting point in addressing this issue. The project showcases community members sharing their experience with failure and, importantly, how they deal with it to help other colleagues and students.

Please register below and join us for the launch event of this project.
