Summary
In this session, our presenters will offer an interactive follow-up to the recorded workshop which provides an overview of the pre-award process – you can watch the recording here: Research and Innovation – Professional Services Training – Smart Support. The in-person session is designed to check that learning objectives have been achieved through interactive learning. There will also be opportunities to network with colleagues.
Target Audience
Professional Service colleagues in a research-related role.

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- Summarise the funding conditions
- Recognise the role of NUProjects and other Research Management Systems
- Appreciate the costing process
- Greater awareness of roles different teams provide across the institution and where support is available
