Call now open: Faculty Impact Fund / Policy Support Fund
The call for expressions of interest in the Faculty Impact Fund and Policy Support Fund is now open. Please share with colleagues as appropriate.
Full details can be found on our SharePoint pages and in the PDF document attached. However this must come via the NUBS Research Team via the Research inbox.
If you are considering applying to either scheme, please read the guidance carefully, particularly the Business School process set out below, along with the eligibility criteria and the appropriate funding route for your proposed activities.
- Business School process for Faculty Internal Funding Applications
Please note the following regarding the Business School’s internal process:
- The Business School has mandatory internal deadlines that differ from the Faculty deadlines. These allow time for the Research Team to review application costings against relevant costing guidance, including the correct treatment of VAT and applicable on-costs, and for all applications to undergo School-wide consideration before sign-off.
- Applicants must submit their final applications to the NUBS Research Inbox, not directly to Faculty, by the relevant Business School deadline.
- The Research Team will forward all School-approved applications to Faculty in a single batch before the relevant Faculty deadline. Applications that miss the Business School’s final submission deadline will unfortunately not be considered for School approval and will therefore not be supported.
- Actions for applicants
Colleagues intending to apply must:
- Copy the NUBS Research Inbox into their EoI submission to ensure the application is recorded for internal monitoring.
- Submit their draft application and associated costings to the NUBS Research Team by the relevant internal deadline (see table below).
- Submit their final application to the NUBS Research Inbox by the relevant Business School final application deadline (see table below).
