Congratulations to Dr Arijit De who had his research paper published in a journal “European Journal of Operational Research”.

The title of the paper is “Bunkering Policies for a Fuel Bunker Management Problem for Liner Shipping Networks“.

The paper investigates a dynamic bunker fuel management problem for liner shipping and considers fuel bunkering policies while addressing dynamic fuel price scenarios. The research work also proposes a novel approximate algorithm which is developed while considering the mathematical formulation. Extensive computational experiments are performed on the real-world shipping routes to demonstrate the applicability, efficacy and robustness of the proposed novel methodology.
