Celebrating Success: Dr Wasim Ahmed

Dr. Wasim Ahmed, Lecturer in Digital Business featured on a panel for launch of the book Strategic Digital Transformation in which he has a co-authored book chapter titled Measuring the digital transformation in an organisation: audit to discover what value was added. The event took place at Salford University Business School. Dr. Ahmed spoke about digital transformation around The Future of Work and work currently being conducted at Newcastle University. Towards the end of last year Dr. Ahmed also delivered 5 talks across 5 intense days and developed strategic relationships across the United Kingdom related to social media analytics, digital education and The Future of Work. Institutions covered Newcastle University, Sheffield Hallam University, Salford University, BBC Birmingham, and Nottingham University.

At BBC Birmingham Dr. Ahmed received a tour of the BBC offices and learnt more about the digital upskilling initiatives taking place across the organisation.
