Your views are very important in shaping the actions that the University takes and commits to as part of its application for REC.

We ran a similar survey in 2019, but the world has since changed a lot. We have had inequalities and disparities brought to the forefront by the Black Lives Matter movement and the global pandemic, and through this survey we hope to capture what may have changed since 2019 regarding race equity work in the university. We hope that you will tell us about the things that really matter to you.

If you are studying for an undergraduate, postgraduate taught/ research masters degree, or are a postgraduate research student, we would like to hear about your experience here at Newcastle University and whether you think there is anything we can do to make it a better place for you to study, make friends, or gain valuable work experience. Tell us, in as much detail as possible, where we are doing well, and where we could perhaps do better, so that together we can build a campus that makes everyone feel welcome and included.

To access the survey, go to: Race Equality Student Survey 2021 (onlinesurveys.ac.uk)

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Malasree Home

Wellbeing Wednesday Welcome to this edition of the Business School Wellbeing Wednesday Update. We hope you are safe and well.
