{"id":12812,"date":"2021-12-09T09:16:26","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T09:16:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/?p=12812"},"modified":"2021-12-09T09:16:26","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T09:16:26","slug":"arts-council-england-releases-first-details-of-national-portfolio-for-2023-onwards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/2021\/12\/09\/arts-council-england-releases-first-details-of-national-portfolio-for-2023-onwards\/","title":{"rendered":"Arts Council England Releases First Details of National Portfolio for 2023 Onwards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In support of its new strategy, \u2018Let\u2019s Create\u2019, Arts Council England is preparing to open applications to arts organisations, museums and libraries across England to join the National Portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>Portfolio organisations will receive regular funding in exchange for engaging communities, collaborating with others and producing high quality, engaging work.<\/p>\n<p>Organisations must deliver on at least one of the following outcomes, with those that receive the most investment expected to deliver on multiple:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative People \u2013 encouraging widespread participation in creative activities.<\/li>\n<li>Cultural Communities \u2013 promoting social cohesion and improved physical and mental wellbeing across local communities.<\/li>\n<li>A Creative and Cultural Country \u2013 embracing innovation, collaboration and diversity to build a robust and resilient cultural sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate that their aims within the context of the application are around creativity and culture.
