The Nuffield Foundation, in partnership with Versus Arthritis, is calling for applications for new research projects to\u00a0improve the lives of people living with musculoskeletal conditions, including their participation in, and support from, work, education, and family life, and their experience of ageing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis and back pain, affect over 20 million people in the UK and are the single biggest cause of pain and disability. Despite almost one in three people living with musculoskeletal conditions, there is a lack of evidence on the impact of these conditions on people\u2019s well-being and life chances and how to improve policy and practice interventions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Up to \u00a34 million of funding is now available from the Foundation\u2019s Oliver Bird Fund<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0You can view the full criteria and how to apply<\/strong><\/a> on Nuffield\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
