Up to \u00a365 million in grant funding is available. Each successful applicant will be awarded a minimum of \u00a3250,000 and maximum of \u00a35 million.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme will fund projects that will improve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Designated landing sites and ports, to allow a greater proportion of the UK fleet to land produce.<\/li>\n<li>Processing and aquaculture systems and facilities.<\/li>\n<li>The use of renewable energy.<\/li>\n<li>The social and economic welfare of coastal communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants can apply for funding if they are involved in fishing, processing or aquaculture and are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A public body (including trust ports, local authority ports and public charities).<\/li>\n<li>A private small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).<\/li>\n<li>A private non-SME.<\/li>\n<li>A fisherman&#8217;s association.<\/li>\n<li>A private trust and foundation.<\/li>\n<li>A trade association.<\/li>\n<li>An officially recognised producer organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Round one is open for applications until 24 May 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK Seafood Fund: Infrastructure Scheme has been set up to fund projects that build capability across the UK seafood sector supply chain.
