{"id":13799,"date":"2022-05-12T11:13:46","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/?p=13799"},"modified":"2022-05-12T11:14:35","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:14:35","slug":"engagement-and-place-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/2022\/05\/12\/engagement-and-place-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"NU 2022 Engagement and Place Awards: The Shortlist!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear all,<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to announce that a number of colleagues within the School have been shortlisted in the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/who-we-are\/engagement\/awards\/\"><strong>NU 2022 Engagement and Place Awards<\/strong><\/a><\/span>!<\/p>\n<p>These awards recognise and celebrate great examples of collaboration between the University and its partners and the public.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/business\/people\/profile\/marwaelnahas.html\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Dr Marwa Elnahass<\/span><\/strong><\/a> is shortlisted for the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/who-we-are\/engagement\/awards\/#Established\"><strong>Established Career Academic Award<\/strong><\/a><\/span> with her Green Finance\/COP26 Policy Paper: Voluntary Carbon Markets in ASEAN: Challenges and Opportunities for Scaling Up.<\/p>\n<p>We are also involved in two of the three <strong>Vice-Chancellor and President<\/strong> <strong>Awards. <\/strong>The <strong>Creative Fuse North East<\/strong> team (led by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/business\/people\/profile\/jonathansapsed.html\"><strong>Professor Jonathan Sapsed<\/strong><\/a><\/span>) is shortlisted as well as the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/business-and-partnerships\/expert-solutions\/arrow\/\"><strong>Arrow<\/strong><\/a><\/span> programme.
