This will take place online via Zoom on Monday 20th June, 2.00pm \u2013 4.00pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">The session is aimed mainly at researchers who haven\u2019t written for The Conversation before and will cover:<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">&#8211; Introduction to The Conversation and how it works<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">&#8211; What makes a good article on The Conversation<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">&#8211; How to write about your research for a general, non-specialist, non-academic audience<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">&#8211; How to pitch article ideas to The Conversation<\/p>\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">\n<p class=\"xxxxmsoplaintext\" style=\"margin: 0cm\">Places must be booked in advance by emailing <a href=\"mailto:dawn.tudge@ncl.ac.uk\">dawn.tudge@ncl.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last few places available \u2013 pitching an article to The Conversation The Press Office has arranged a session with The Conversation.
