Advice, information and guidance is available at all stages of your university career.<\/p>\n<p>The Disability team provide practical support and arrangements for students with disabilities. They can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>advise on accommodation issues and campus accessibility<\/li>\n<li>identify your support requirements such as early lectures notes or longer library loans<\/li>\n<li>provide guidance to you and your School about the impact of your disability on various study tasks, and how to accommodate these requirements.<\/li>\n<li>coordinate any specific exam arrangements including extra time or rest breaks<\/li>\n<li>assist with the application process for Disabled Students&#8217; Allowance (DSA)<\/li>\n<li>facilitate arrangements for additional support, such as British Sign Language interpreters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you would like to arrange an appointment to discuss your support needs with a Disability Practitioner you can email the team directly using:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:disabilityadvisor@ncl.ac.uk%20\">disabilityadvisor@ncl.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have, or suspect you have, a specific learning difficulty then you can contact the Specialist Learning team.
