This activity is free for all students to use on the last Wednesday of every month and is a great way to socialise and have fun! <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1rmsfrJPj3Y3nZ8H8nU19yZZco7eJxpLRb8SO3zLpsAU\/edit?usp=sharing\">Sign up here<\/a> to play today (22\/02\/23) and encourage your course mates to give it a go too!<\/p>\n<h3>Spotlight on LGBTQA+ Support<\/h3>\n<p>Newcastle University Student Health and Wellbeing Services is fully dedicated to ensuring that our University is fully inclusive and supportive of all members of the community.<\/p>\n<p>We recognise that students may wish to discuss specific support and advice without the need to approach lots of people. We provide an\u00a0<strong>Initial Point of Contact (IPC)<\/strong>\u00a0within the Student Health and Wellbeing Service who can support and advise students about their options i.e. how to get your name and gender changed on university records. The IPC can be contacted by email at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:inclusive@ncl.ac.uk\">inclusive@ncl.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Confidential, tailored support is available for any student concerned about transgender and\/or non-binary issues and we encourage you to contact your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nusu.co.uk\/student-voice\/sabbs\/welfare\">Student Union Welfare and Equality Officer\u00a0<\/a>or or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusu.co.uk\/yourvoice\/officers\/\">Part-Time Officers<\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/wellbeing\/about\/opening\/#d.en.918495\">Student Wellbeing Service<\/a>\u00a0so we can collectively explore your needs and the support options available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Newcastle University Student Union\u00a0LGBT+\u00a0officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The LGBT+ officer is elected annually and represents\u00a0LGBTQA+\u00a0students on your student union council. The officer raises awareness around campus and works to combat homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. Email <a href=\"mailto:lgbt.union@newcastle.ac.uk\">lgbt.union@newcastle.ac.uk<\/a> \u00a0if you need any advice on university related\u00a0LGBTQA+\u00a0issues or if you want to see something change at university in relation to\u00a0LGBTQA+\u00a0staff and students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Newcastle University LGBT+ Society<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a social and support network for all\u00a0LGBT+\u00a0students. The society aims to ensure that all\u00a0LGBT+\u00a0students gain the most out of their time at Newcastle. This\u00a0aims to showcase the current inclusivity offer that our clubs have and work to better the understanding from clubs around the barriers to inclusion and enabling further support to their LGBTQ+ members.
