The University has staff and students from all over the world, making it a diverse and inclusive place to work and study.<\/p>\n<p>The University provides a number of spaces for prayer and reflection on campus to serve its community. With the Business School being a short walk from the main campus, we wanted to ensure there is adequate space for our community on this side of the city.<\/p>\n<p>Through our student-staff committee, as well as conversations with staff and our Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, we discussed creating a new prayer space at the Business School.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of these conversations, NUBS 3.08 has been converted into a dual-use space which can be used for quiet study or for prayer, meditation and quiet reflection.<\/p>\n<h2>Spaces on the Helix campus<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Business School \u2013 NUBS 3.08 (dual-use space)<\/li>\n<li>Frederick Douglass Centre \u2013 G.51 (also includes a chair for breastfeeding)<\/li>\n<li>Urban Sciences Building \u2013 2.027 (a key is required from USB reception)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Spaces on main campus<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>King George VI Building \u2013 Prayer Space (University smartcard required for access)<\/li>\n<li>Henry Daysh \u2013 2.48 and \u00a07.21<\/li>\n<li>Baddiley Clarke \u2013 2.271<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Take a look at this handy map to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/viewer?mid=1-ozDZnAxVHZTDQ9HcgpZehNYTrurswo&amp;hl=en&amp;ll=54.974243900000005%2C-1.6228612000000076&amp;z=18\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">view all of the prayer, quiet and wellbeing spaces on campus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Provide your feedback<\/h2>\n<p>We have created a form so users of the new space in NUBS 3.08 can provide their feedback.
