    The Portal is your one-stop-shop for EU funding and tender opportunities. This is why the European Commission are now making it even easier and more effortless to use. The Portal is now available in its new shape and brings a range of novelties made for you.<\/p>\n

    1. EU and South Korea Conclude Negotiations on Horizon Europe Association, while Switzerland and Japan are in discussions:<\/strong> https:\/\/www.ukro.ac.uk\/news\/eu-and-south-korea-conclude-negotiations-on-horizon-europe-association\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The signature of the association agreement for South Korea is foreseen in the second half of 2024, once the necessary ratification procedures on both sides have concluded. This will enable South Korea\u2019s participation in\u00a0Pillar II<\/a>\u00a0of Horizon Europe on equal terms with entities from the EU Member States, as of 2025. However, for all other parts of the programme (i.e.\u00a0Pillar I<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pillar III<\/a>), South Korea will be considered a non-associated third country. Meanwhile an agreement allowing for Switzerland\u2019s participation in EU programmes, including Horizon Europe, has been announced as part of a larger\u00a0package of bilateral measures<\/a>\u00a0to be negotiated between the two partners. Japan continues its exploratory talks on association with the EU.<\/p>\n
