  1. NEW: EU opens exploratory talks with Singapore on Horizon Europe association:<\/strong> https:\/\/sciencebusiness.net\/news\/horizon-europe\/eu-opens-exploratory-talks-singapore-horizon-europe-association<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The European Commission has announced that it has opened early stage talks with Singapore about associating to Horizon Europe. This follows South Korea, Canada and New Zealand who have already negotiated association to the industrially-focused pillar II of the scheme, while Switzerland and Japan are currently in talks.<\/p>\n

    1. NEW: European Commission adopts an amendment to the Horizon Europe work programme for 2023-2024:<\/strong> https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/ip_24_2104<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The adopted texts of the work programme amendment are available on the Funding & Tenders Portal here<\/a>. The amendment increases the 2024 budget by nearly \u20ac1.4 billion, including \u20ac650 million for the EU missions, as well as calls for open topics under the \u00a0\u2018Health’, \u2018Climate, energy and mobility’ and \u2018Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment’ clusters in pillar 2. There is also new calls for the the New European Bauhaus Facility, the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage and pandemic preparedness.<\/p>\n

        The European Commission is\u00a0seeking feedback\u00a0for the 2025 Horizon Europe Work Programme. This is an opportunity to provide input for the development of the Horizon Europe \u2018main\u2019 work programme 2025. Responses submitted through the survey will contribute to the co-design of the work programme 2025, which covers all 6 clusters, research infrastructures, European innovation ecosystems, the 5 EU Missions, and the New European Bauhaus facility. The feedback opportunity closes on\u00a06 May 2024 <\/strong>at midday CET. Participants can provide feedback on multiple Destinations and\/or Missions.<\/p>\n
