Click or tap if you trust this link.\" href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.britishcouncil.jp%2Fen%2Fprogrammes%2Fhigher-education%2Funiversity-industry-partnership%2Frenkei&amp;data=05%7C02%7CAlison.Brown%40newcastle.ac.uk%7C6a42ff7fb6ac4ff93b8308dd50d00dea%7C9c5012c9b61644c2a91766814fbe3e87%7C1%7C0%7C638755576705159180%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=5FAJQeHOdq4ZvgLUuIxYoH5AHI4bNAWu6JPkyuuuxn0%3D&amp;reserved=0\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"1\">RENKEI<\/a>) training days taking place 6-9 May (Tuesday 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0May in Newcastle, 7-9<sup>th<\/sup> May at Durham University).\u00a0 The aim of RENKEI is to forge research connections and initiate collaborations between Early Career Researchers in the UK and Japan.\u00a0 The programme is open to ECRs from any discipline working on research related to Just Transitions to Net Zero, specifically around the following themes:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Just Transitions in urban environments<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Just Transitions within industries and sectors<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Just Transitions and policy impacts<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Climate Justice: Unequal access to clean and affordable energy and green finance<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Managing Just Transitions to improve public health and address public health inequalities relative to climate change injustices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The International Office are turning to us to nominate appropriate ECRs.\u00a0 They are keen to have researchers from a range of schools (and if possible covering all five themes). We have a maximum of 4 berths for ECRs.
