We are delighted to launch three calls for School research funding.<\/p>\n
The Early Career Researcher Fund (ECRF)<\/strong> is open to all colleagues who consider themselves to be an ECR (there is no fixed definition for an ECR, but it\u2019s generally individuals who received their PhD less than five years ago, excluding career breaks \u2013 if you are unsure please contact us to discuss) who haven\u2019t received internal (NUBS or University) research funding in the past two years.<\/p>\n The Ignite Research Fund (IRF) <\/strong>is open to all colleagues who haven\u2019t been recipients of internal (NUBS or University) or external funding in the past five years (excluding those eligible for ECR funding).<\/p>\n The Mission-Oriented Research Fund (MORF)<\/strong> is open to all colleagues to support projects that align with the principles of mission-driven research, addressing significant societal, economic, and environmental challenges.<\/p>\n Further details can be found on the guidance documents below, and application forms are below also. Please note that due to current financial restrictions we cannot commit to funding travel \u2013 small amounts of funding may be available for UK travel, but projects involving international travel are unlikely to be funded.
