Award holders will also need to follow all university financial procedures in place at the time of award, including seeking approval for travel, as outlined on the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle.sharepoint.com\/projects\/university-finances\/Pages\/default.aspx\">University Finances page<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>The new deadline for applications is <strong>17th April 2025, 12pm<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<u><a href=\"mailto:nubs.research@ncl.ac.uk\">nubs.research@ncl.ac.uk<\/a><\/u>. You are encouraged to apply for this deadline.\u00a0<strong>All spend MUST be processed prior to 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0June 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Demand for these funds is expected to be high, so applicants will need to ensure their application is costed accurately well in advance of submission. In order to process applications quickly and efficiently, all applicants\u00a0<strong>MUST<\/strong>\u00a0contact the research team at\u00a0<u><a href=\"mailto:nubs.research@ncl.ac.uk\">nubs.research@ncl.ac.uk<\/a><\/u>\u00a0at least 72 hours prior to the deadline to obtain or check their costings, even if costs appear to be straightforward.
