EPSRC New Investigator Award training for your first major research grant<\/b><\/div>\n

EPSRC New Investigator Award research funding is to support individuals who hold an academic lectureship position (or equivalent) and have not previously led a research group.<\/div>\n
Years post-PhD or job title are not markers of career progression. Eligibility is determined on the basis of funding history.\u00a0 Find out more about\u00a0new investigator award eligibility<\/a><\/u><\/b>.<\/div>\n
Applications are encouraged from candidates who have taken a non-standard career path after their first degree.\u00a0 Applications are also welcomed from candidates who want to move back into research after a career break or any other type of break from active research.<\/div>\n
Projects will usually take up 10% – 20% of Project Lead\u2019s time and last up to three years.<\/div>\n
