n order to help you understand how research funding selection panels work, we\u2019d like to invite motivated colleagues at the relevant application stage, to observe our existing NERC Application Support Panel (as explained in our\u00a0<\/span>\u200b\u200b<\/u>\u200b<\/span>NERC Pushing the Frontiers guidance<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span>\u200b<\/u><\/span>\u200b<\/u>\u200b).\u00a0 The next one is\u00a05th May, 2-4pm (in-person)<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>and there will be opportunities after that, dates to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

To get the most out of this, you should be committed to applying for a\u00a0NERC Pushing the Frontiers<\/a><\/u>\u00a0grant within the next couple of years.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in this opportunity, please express your interest here:\u00a0I’d like to join the NERC Mock Panel Observer Pool<\/a><\/u>.\u00a0<\/u>Please complete the survey by\u00a0Monday 20th\u00a0April<\/b>. We will then try to match observers with either the upcoming NERC panel meeting in May, or future NERC panel meetings.<\/p>\n

This opportunity is currently applicable to NERC Pushing the Frontiers.\u00a0 Similar opportunities may be extended to other schemes in the future.<\/p>\n
