Congratulations to Paul on his recent award of Faculty Impact Funding, as a Co-I with a colleague in SACS, Dr Emma Coffield.<\/p>\n
It relates to a HaSS Faculty Impact Fund<\/em> project entitled \u2018More than Meanwhile Spaces II\u2019. It follows the completion of a smaller ESRC IAA<\/em>-funded project (More Than \u2018Meanwhile\u2019 Spaces: Long-Term Business Models for Artists in the City<\/em>) which assembled a network of stakeholders capable of enacting change in Newcastle\/Gateshead and sought to develop a shared and sustained understanding of current decision making processes, their impact and potential, and to co-develop new, sustainable business models in the sector. The latest project builds on this by working closely with Newcastle City Council on a plan of action inspired by activities underway elsewhere in the UK such as London\u2019s Creative Enterprise Zones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
