{"id":8184,"date":"2019-10-10T14:23:12","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T13:23:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/?p=8184"},"modified":"2019-10-10T14:23:12","modified_gmt":"2019-10-10T13:23:12","slug":"campus-defibrillator-familiarisation-training-for-first-aiders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microsites.ncl.ac.uk\/nubsstaffblog\/2019\/10\/10\/campus-defibrillator-familiarisation-training-for-first-aiders\/","title":{"rendered":"Campus Defibrillator Familiarisation Training &#8211; For first aiders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are encouraging any first aiders to sign up to our Campus Defibrillator Familiarisation Training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>These are 30 minute session for those who are already first aid qualified: This is a short training session in the use of the specific type of defibrillator that Newcastle University have housed within the secure cabinets.<\/p>\n<p>These courses are currently listed until the end of November 2019 but there will be more being run across the whole of the academic year (i.e. all 3 terms).<\/p>\n<p>The earliest available courses with spaces still remaining on them are those training sessions running on 31<sup>st<\/sup> October 2019.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are further courses on both 13<sup>th<\/sup> November 2019 and 27<sup>th<\/sup> November 2019<\/p>\n<p>Please sign up via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/elements.ncl.ac.uk\/course\/view.php?id=1175\">this link.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please note: none first aiders are able to attend 2 hour sessions to be trained, however these sessions for October\/November are fully booked.
