The time-varying performance of analyst recommendation revisions: Do market conditions matter? Financial Markets, Institutions &amp; Instruments 2020.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In\u00a0these\u00a0articles, Dr Chen Su and his co-authors conduct\u00a0sell side\u00a0analyst\u00a0research\u00a0in detail, in terms of the investment value of analysts\u2019 advice and the impact of market conditions, using a comprehensive sample of UK stock recommendation revisions collected from a unique database &#8211; Morningstar Company Intelligence. They also develop a time-series bootstrapping simulation method to distinguish analysts\u2019 skill from luck (i.e., random chance).
