Facing a dilemma choosing your accommodation? Our recent grad Sam, remembers what it was like staying at Windsor Terrace:

So you’re looking in to where to live while at Newcastle University? Well Windsor Terrace has everything you need, here’s why you need to look no further…

Location, Location, Location

Windsor Terrace couldn’t be in a better location. You know that after snoozing your alarm for the seventh time that you can still be on campus in less than five minutes.

Situated next door to the Phillip Robinson Library and the Law School, you’re in the very heart of University life.

Not only is it in an ideal location in the city and you have the campus on your doorstep, it is also among the cheapest accommodation on campus too. Perfect for saving those pennies!

Space

Fridge space comes at a premium when sharing student accommodation, but with two fridges and two freezers between six of you, you can store food until your heart’s content! There’s a big kitchen and lounge area too, so plenty of space to cook, socialise and relax.

All-Inclusive Bills

All utility bills are included in the price, as well as a TV licence! A good chance to get everyone together on an evening and have a catch-up, while watching The Chase.

Community Feel

The site is split into three relatively small houses, which makes it have a real community feel. You’ll get to know the people in the same block as you very quickly and it’s so friendly and sociable.

Parking

There’s a student car-park at Windsor Terrace, as well as plenty of bike storage. So if you’re bringing your own transport to University, you’ll have somewhere to keep it. Car parking does incur an additional cost but it’s worth it if you do plan to bring your car to uni.
