Studying around the clock isn’t healthy. So here are some of the best ways to take a break on campus, that’ll help you relax, de-stress and clear your mind so you can get the most out of your study time!

Grab a drink or a snack at one of our 13 catering outlets around campus.

Chill out with friends in one of the Living Rooms in the new Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms.

5. Students’ Union activities

Get involved in some of the S.O.S (Stressed Out Students) activities at the Students’ Union which include free table tennis and massages! The Students’ Union also run loads of activities and events all year round such as Give It A Go and Go Play that are great ways for you to take a revision break.


6. Great North Museum

Check out some of the collections at the Great North Museum.
