It’s been a busy month on The Student Room, here are some of our most frequently asked questions this month.
The PARTNERS summer school is made up of both academic sessions such as lectures and practical sessions and study skills sessions. The nature of the work that you complete during the Assessed Summer School depends on the academic subject strand that you’re studying. You may have to write an essay, prepare a report, sit an exam or a combination of these exercises.
You will be given all the information you need about your subject strand at the Final Summer School Briefing. This will give you an idea of what to expect in terms of teaching, personal study and assessment.
We have an early arrivals week that usually runs the week before Freshers’ week starts. It’s a chance for any students who are arriving early and local students to get involved in various activities and meet new people before everyone else arrives on campus for Freshers’ week.
Our societies will also be running events throughout early arrivals and Fresher’s week. You can contact any society via their email on the Students’ Union page and they would be happy to inform you of any events they will be running.
