STUDENT BLOGS

Why not direct your ‘rents to our team of Student Bloggers, giving a true account of what life in Newcastle is really like. Covering everything from lessons learned to things to do, no one can convince your parents the Toon’s the place to be like current students.

REAL DEAL EVENTS

Every year, Newcastle Uni puts on a ‘Real Deal Parent and Carer Event’ which provides info about higher education and the university. With loads of sessions on everything from Financial Support to Student Accommodation, this event is a great way for your parents to get onto campus and learn more about what Newcastle has to offer. Take a look at last year’s event here.

VISIT DAYS

Not only a nice day out with the fam, Newcastle University’s Visit Days offer plenty of opportunities for both you and your parents to get a feel for the place. You’ll be able to go on campus tours, view the accommodation, speak to current students and attend subject specific talks.

If you’re interested in coming on campus, Newcastle’s next Visit Days will be held in summer 2015.

UCAS FAIRS

If you can’t make it to the uni, your local UCAS Fair is another way you and your parents can chat to current staff and students about the uni, and find out everything you’d like to know about studying here in Newcastle. Why not see when your local UCAS fair is coming to town?
