School funding for research and impact
A reminder that the NUBS Research and Impact Fund is open for applications. The fund supports colleagues to undertake specific activities leading to significant research outputs or impact activities in addition to those which they fund from their Research and Scholarship fund. Applications to this fund are invited from T&R, T&S, PDRA colleagues.
We have increased the amounts that can be applied for. Awards will normally be for amounts up to £2500. In exceptional cases, colleagues can apply for amounts up to £5000 for research/impact only and up to £10,000 for research and impact will be considered if justification is provided. This is a rolling call with no deadline – applications will be dealt with as they arrive. All spend must be processed prior to 8th July 2022.
We are particularly keen to support colleagues whose research has been impacted by the pandemic. This applies to all kinds of impact – not necessarily related to childcare and/or home-schooling. There is an opportunity on the application form to briefly outline details.
