ESRC: Grant Assessment Panel member vacancies
ESRC are now accepting applications for new members of the Grant Assessment Panels (GAPs).
There are multiple vacancies for academic members in a range of disciplines across the panels, as well as one vacancy for a research user member on Panel A. The closing date for applications is 17:00 on Friday 13th May.
Vacancy specifications and links to the online application forms can be found below. The specifications include the essential and desirable criteria for each vacancy as well as further important information. Applicants are asked to read their relevant specification in full before applying.

Role of Members
Members of the GAPs are expected to read and assess an average of 30 research proposals per annum and to meet three times a year (March, July and November) to make funding recommendations. The assessment process for each round takes place over three weeks in the month preceding each meeting. In addition to assessment, members are also asked to read an additional selection of proposals ahead of each meeting.
