Post Graduate Taught Experience Survey 2022

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is open.

The survey provides postgraduate taught students with an opportunity to share their experience of studying at Newcastle University Business School.

Why encourage students to participate in PTES?

It’s important that we hear student views as it provides us with an opportunity to reflect on their thoughts and opinions. We can use the feedback to identify the areas of strength, as well as to address areas for development.

Over 100 universities and colleges take part in the survey in the UK and globally. This allows us to compare our student experience against other institutions and review the support current students receive as part of their learning.

How students can take part

Students can access the survey via an invitation email which they should have now received from Student Surveys. This email will include a personalised link to the survey. The survey is open until 17 June.

£5 voucher incentive

As a thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, we’re offering a £5 voucher, which can be used in any of our food outlets on campus. To redeem the voucher, students must supply evidence that they have completed the survey. They must show their completion confirmation at the Education Team Hub in room 5.09 of the Business School.

The University is also donating £2 per completed survey to the charity North East Solidarity Teaching (N.E.S.T), which works to support asylum seekers in the city.

Below is a PDF presentation slide that can be used by staff when encouraging the students to take part.
