Innovation Caucus survey participation request

Dear colleagues,

The Innovation Caucus is a network of social scientists co-developed by Innovate UK and the ESRC who works closely on supporting engagement between the social sciences and the innovation ecosystem. Currently, the Innovation Caucus are carrying out a project that seeks to understand how the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) can better provide support for commercialisation of research out of social sciences in the UK.

The Innovation Caucus would like to invite all social science colleagues to fill in a short survey to better understand:

  1. Your experiences in commercialisation of research out of social sciences; OR
  2. The types of funding routes that may encourage you to commercialise your research.

Please fill in the survey here, by Friday 18th November: Link to survey.

The survey may take up to 20 minutes to complete. Follow-up interviews of approximately 45-60 minutes may be requested. Those who are interested in participating in the follow-up interviews may also express their interest to the research team at the Innovation Caucus: Dr Syahirah Abdul Rahman at: sabdul-rahman@brookes.ac.uk OR Dr Sammy Field at: sfield@brookes.ac.uk. The Innovation Caucus are extremely grateful for your contribution of your valuable time, your honest information, and your thoughtful suggestions. We would of course be more than happy to share our findings with you and any participants of the study.

Many thanks!

Best wishes,

Heidi – on behalf of the ESRC IAA team and the Innovation Caucus
