Celebrating Success: Dr Josephine Go Jefferies and Prof Chris Hicks

Congratulations to Dr Josephine Go Jefferies, Prof Chris Hicks, Dr Katarina Novakovic and Ms Zara Latif for their event “Assessing Local Knowledge of Plastic Waste“. The organisers succeeded in engaging the public of all ages in academic- and student-led science and social science activities. Targeted invitations and general invitations to NU colleagues resulted in a mix of contributors organising 12 stalls/exhibits for the event.

This event was part of a collaboration between Chemical Engineering, Business Operations Management, and Marketing to study the problem of plastic waste as a barrier to achieving Net Zero.
