Frontiers Symposium and seed funding: ‘Reversing Environmental Degradation’

The potential for engineering solutions to reverse environmental degradation is vast but remains relatively under-researched. This event aims to move the dial from understanding the challenge into solutions, through interactive discussions on three themes:

  • Technology for participatory research and decision-making
  • Technology for data access, visualisation and analysis
  • Technology for real-time monitoring and learning

This symposium will consider the interconnected roles, bringing experts from biodiversity and conservation, engineering, and social sciences together to identify solutions that will reverse environmental degradation. Seed funding grants will be available to event participants to take forward ideas inspired by the event.
